New Feature: Maximize a Window in Windows 7

Post by Doctor Inferno on Thu 06 Nov 2008, 4:19 am

Windows 7 has this new feature to maximize and restore down a window in a special way. This tutorial will show you how to do it.

For reference, this is the title bar:

To maximize a Window, click the title bar and drag it to the top of your screen. It has to touch the top to work.

You will then see a Glass Border poping up around the edge of the screen. Once you see the glass border, let go of the Window. And your Window will be maximized

To Restore down a Window, simply hold the title bar and drag it off the top.

You can also drag the Window to the sides to make it occupy half the screen as shown:

hit counter
