How to Create New Shortcuts in Windows 7

This tutorial will show you how to create new shortcuts in Windows 7.




To create a new shortcut, right click an empty area of the desktop. Highlight New then select Shortcut as shown in the screenshot below.




Click Browse and browse for the file or folder you want the shortcut to lead to. When done, click Ok then click Next.




Type in a desired name for the shortcut and click Finish.




Your shortcut is now created.
