System Security 2009

Post by CamnCrazie on Fri 03 Jul 2009, 5:42 am

First topic message reminder :

This thing won't let me do anything. I can't use system restore, it won't let me access download pages for some anti-malware programs and it won't let me start the ones I can download. It also won't let me restart in safe mode.

I could really use some help. Thanks in advance.

That's not good news.... It sounds like I should wait until I get home and I can try to move any files I may need to an external hard drive before I get started.

I will post the log on here after I've taken off everything I don't want to lose.

Now my computer won't even let me access my wireless connection. Can I just kill the whole thing and reinstall the operating system or will the virus still survive that?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, if you have your OS disc, a format would wipe everything, including the malware.
