Spyware, viruses, trojans, adware, and all other bad stuff - learn how to effectively remove threats. If you like to help people, and would like to help other users get their computers clean - then you should do it!

Learning how to fight malware is important, because those who are trained know how to fix a person's computer without damaging it in the process.

The training is steady, but it does take several months to complete (6-9 months). It can be hard from time to time, but those who are willing to research and put good time in will feel rewarded and get the training done.

Note: This is a training to learn how to help other users with their computer problems, not just for yourself. We are not here to help you learn business skills, or personal skills. We want to train you in professional skills on removing malware, so you are able to help other users on the forums. Application submissions that do not say that you would like to help other users, will be automatically denied.

With the large, ever increasing amount of people requesting help, we are in need of more Malware professionals to volunteer their help here. Malware professionals who wish to help out here on GeekPolice, please drop any one of the staff a PM stating that you would like to volunteer here.

I do have a couple of questions to ask you about the Academy.

DO you have to go continuously, like a regular school, where if you miss a day, you miss a day, and have to make up work and everything, or do you set your own schedule?

As I'm a high school student, should I wait until I graduate before applying? Is there an age requirement to get in?

....is it possible to fail so terribly you can't get back in?

There is no way to fail, unless if you fail to work. You do not graduate from the academy until you pass everything. You have to pass each lesson to move on.

Yes, you must go continuously, but we are flexible.

We expect you to reply every two days (48 hours). You are allowed to miss four days, but will be warned. If you are gone one week, you will get the final warning. After two weeks of missing, you will be removed immediately.

We do allow exceptions for holidays and such, I think Jay missed that bit in his post.

Alright, so not something to try unless you have a ton of free time. I'll probably wait until AFTER I graduate high school then, and before college... I dunno.... so hard to schedule things when everyone seems to want us to hit college the day we step out o fhigh school! So frustrating!

But I might take time off my schooling to do this, because I really want to learn to help people... and who knows, might look good on an application someday ^^

Indeed. It should be fine. At first, it will not be hard to get through. Level 1 only takes some free time. It just takes more time once you get in to levels 2-3.

And, holidays are ok. But PM to one of us will work best. Only because some people have holidays in their country that are not typical in any other country.

Yeah it would. Again, this isn't a rushed thing, even if you need to take a day or two to read up and research your mistakes, you can.

SpywareHammer only lets you have 48 hours then they remove you immediately. That's crazy.

However, we are better flexible. Whatever we can do to work with you, we will. If you cannot make a deadline (4 days, or 96 hours), try to pop online real quick and send one of us a message.

Alriht! Hm... I think I'll still wait till summer to start.

Um, is it possible to complete one level, then wait until time is freed up to startt the next? Or do I have to do it one-two-three-finals?

I'm sorry if I seem to be annoying or pestering you, it's just all something I need to consder before I enroll, because I don't want to get kicked out simply because I can't find the tiem... you all are being very helpful ^^

It is better to do all four in one shot. New malware is created every in tons daily. It is important to keep up.
