That could be something we turned off, turn the items we turned off back on and reboot again.

Not sure about the iTunes issue.

Temp files could be using a lot of room, same for system restore and old (big) files that could be compressed.

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
  • Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browser, do this also:

  • Click Firefox at the top and choose Select All from the list.
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
  • NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browser, do this also:

  • Click Opera at the top and choose Select All from the list.
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
  • NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

it only freed up 150mb i think it said

Go to Start. In the search bar, type in cleanmgr and hit enter.
Wait for it to load, then when it does, select everything (by ticking the boxes) and hit okay.

Allow it to run, then see if you have anymore HD space.

ok still only clears up 28mb and its not worth it so i didnt do it. is there anything else that could be causing it?

Don't know if there's much else I can do, I don't why your HD space has jumped from over 100gb to a few hundred megabytes.

I move this out to our Software forum and see if Doc comes up with anything.
