this fake antivirus is killing my computer. I cannot access the internet unless in safe mode with networking and when i am in normal mode the compter is lagged out by fake antivirus popups. as well as a computer is low on memory warning, crashes with a blue screen when i attempted a system restore, freezes when i try to install things. redirects me when attempting to view windowsupdate.com and many other virus removal sites and such. any help would be greatly appreciated. before i joined this forum i bought a new antivirus from best buy Webroot AntiVirus with Antispyware but cannot update the definitions because of the redirector.

We can remove OTMoveIt now.

  • Please double-click OTMoveIt3.exe to run it again.
  • Press the green CleanUp! button.
  • Press Yes cleanup process prompt, do the same for the reboot prompt.
How is the machine running now?

I would recommend Avira.

Please install Avira antivirus otherwise you won't be protected.

1) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
-Free anti-virus software for Windows.
-Detects and removes more than 50,000 viruses. Free support.

It is strongly recommended that you run only one antivirus program at a time. Having more than one antivirus program active in memory uses additional resources and can result in program conflicts and false virus alerts.
