Re: system security

I have the "system security" malware on my other computer. It won't permit me to go to system restore to delete it there; it won't permit any command to be executed. I can click the start and bring up the programs but none will execute. I can't get the task master to come up to delete it. I can't get the control panel to open the "delete programs". It is the program with the gold and black shield that looks similar to the old Norton logo. I can access anything that might help on this computer but I can't get on line or anything with the infected one.

  • Please download DDS by sUBs to your Desktop (Important!!) from one of these locations:
    Link 1
    Link 2

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  • Choose your usual account.

Once in safe mode,

  • Double click DDS.scr to run.
  • When complete, two logs will open. Save both of the report to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste DDS.txt back here, I don't need to see attach.txt.
