Everyday when I turn on my comuter the screen is illegible. I usually have to wait several minutes until the screen is legible. I and using windows xp pro sp3, 120 gb hardrive, 256 mb ram, and nvidia Geforce2 mx/mx 400 graphics card.
Just want to know are there any viruses that cause this or is it my graphics card?

That is some old hardware you have there.
I'd say the RAM is to blame, 256mb is the bare minimum XP will run. I tried booting my laptop with 256 while fixing something, I just couldn't, wouldn't boot at all.

Probably is your graphic card, old hardware may need some time to warm up.@mikehock2005 wrote:Everyday when I turn on my comuter the screen is illegible.
