Solved mouse problems

Post by charvie on 10th April 2009, 1:00 pm

I have this USB mouse. It was working fine for the past months that i have it, but then now it wouldn't work.

I tried transferring it to another port and it worked, for just a couple of minutes.
What do you think I should do?

What happens if you transfer it back?

I meant what happened if you plug it back into the other port.

Anyway, try this.

Start >> Control Panel >> Performance and Maintenance >> In the Performance and Maintenance window, click on the System icon near the bottom of the window. In the System Properties window, click on the Hardware tab then click on the Device Manager button.

Right click Mice & other pointing devices >> Uninstall.

Try the same mouse on some other PC and check, if it works properly then your need to check your, USB port/connections
Also check other USB devices on the "defective" Port
