Post by TracyMarie on Thu 26 Mar 2009, 2:19 pm

Once Windows7 has been put on my computer is there a way of going back to XP without a CD of any kind?

Thanks so much!

If you have a recovery partition with an image of Windows XP on it you can do that. If not, you'll need a CD.

Okay I have the CD now, but it's saying it is not detecting a hard drive or something along those lines.

Boot into your BIOS by pressing Del at start up. Inside the BIOS find for the option which disable soemthing to do with SATA performance.
