Solved Sleep

Post by restrung on 24th March 2009, 3:02 am

I wasn't sure where I should post this so I just decided to go with in here. When I turn my laptop into sleep mode, is there a way to keep it so that the wireless internet is still going? Whenever I come back from sleep mode it has disconnected me from the internet and I need to reconnect. But I like to leave an away message up on AIM while I'm gone without having to waste all the battery. Please help.

Solved Re: Sleep

I'm afraid you can't do that. When you put your computer to sleep mode everything else is turned off, you CPU, GPU, most of the mobo, network card etc. except for your RAM.
