No IEEE 1394 Connection in Vista?

Post by BIMRIB on Sat Feb 28, 2009 7:59 am

I'm trying to set up a Firewire device on Vista (sp1, 32bit) but Windows does not recognize it at all. I've checked my device manager and it shows my 1394 Bus host controller to be a Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant etc. However, researching online has shown me that other people are experiencing a similar issue....in the Network Connections under Control Panel, the IEEE 1394 is not visible! I could've sworn it used to be......yet now I don't see it! I would imagine getting it back under the Network Connections list may solve my problem.....anyone have any ideas?

Belahzur where are u!
