We took care of another issue, but now my plug and play no longer works. I can access my digital camera with USB, but the computer no longer recognizes the camera when I plug it in. I have to manually select the device in My Computer. I have XP. It used to launch the Scanner and Camera Wizard whenever I plugged the USB from the camera.
How can I get the Wizard back?

Also, When I try to bookmark this site, the bookmark doesn't work. It only brings up the previously bookmarked selections. How can I add new bookmarks? I use Firefox 3.04.

I would recommend upgrading to Firefox 3.0.5
For bookmarks when you click the Star or Ctrl + D A box will appear with the option to change the loaction.
I'm guessing you are using Ctrl + B to bring the bookmarks sidebar up instead.
Also, I believe you should post problems in Technical & Support Forums

Start > Run >> Type in devmgmt.msc >> Enter.
Find for your camera's name and right click >> uninstall.
Plug your camera back in and see if it works this time.

It doesn't list any cameras. One of my two is brand new and I've never used it on this computer. It's the auto launch of the Scanner and Camera Wizard that appears to be missing. Could there have been a Plug and Play setting in Services.msc that got changed? I can get to the pics on the camera through the USB, but I have to use the My Computer and manually go get them, copy them, and paste them. I used to just be able to plug in the camera, (USB), and the Wizard took over.
BTW, the bookmark thing is ok.

....And no "Ding" when I connect the USB like it used to. When I manually try to run Scanner and camera wizard, it doesn't recognize anything but me scanner. It doesn't even let me choose the camera, even though it appears as a drive on My Computer. The wizard automatically has my scanner in the Wizard, so it must only see it as a scanner/camera and the camera only as a drive...

Ok, does your camera come with a driver software?

Not sure...It appears there's a driver in the properties when I manually check it.

The other thing is that it appears to be taking the disk ID from the disk itself, not the camera. I plugged in the second, new camera and it identified as just another drive, ("K", I think). I put a card in it from my other camera and plugged it in , (USB), and it recognized the drive as a Nikon, my other camera. So, a card originally from my Nikon was put in my Panasonic, and the computer recognized it as a Nikon.
Still no USB connection signal sound like it used to.
