Sinowal.Trojan and a few others, please help!

Post by feline_hybrid on Fri Dec 05, 2008 2:22 am

Okay. So I was on a website yesterday, and my computer randomly restarted. When I re-booted it, my windows firewall thing popped up saying that I have a sinowal.trojan. So I downloaded this software called "Perfect Defender", and scanned my computer. Five different threats came up. Here they are:

Spyware.RemoteSpy[B-type]
Spyware.NokKernel
Sinowal.Trojan
Hacktool.DeepUnfreeze
Dialer.Driver

Please, if anybody could tell me how to remove these, I would greatly appreciate it, as my computer is my life, and if it crashes, or I lose it, I will be devastated. Thank you in advance for your help. Also. I am new to all of this log posting, so please be patient with me, and tell me how to do it the easiest and fastest way. Please and thank you. Here is my HijackThis Log:

  • Check the boxes in front of these lines:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [C:\WINDOWS\system32\kdjod.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\kdjod.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Perfect Defender 2009] "C:\Program Files\Perfect Defender 2009\pdfndr.exe"
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SVCHOST.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\svchost.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Antispyware] C:\Program Files\Antispyware\Antispyware.exe -boot
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Antispyware] C:\Program Files\Antispyware\Antispyware.exe -boot
    O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{E05983BE-A335-4D25-9013-E0808BA94C71}: NameServer = 85.255.112.114;85.255.112.14

  • Close Hijack This.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\svchost.exe <== file
C:\Program Files\Antispyware <== folder

  • Download combofix from here, use the top links - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe.
  • Follow the prompts. NOTE:
  • ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed.
    ***It's strongly recommended to have the Recovery Console installed before doing any malware removal.***

    **Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will automatically proceed with its scan.

  • The Recovery Console provides a recovery/repair mode should a problem occur during a Combofix run.

  • Allow ComboFix to download the Recovery Console.
  • Accept the End-User License Agreement.
  • The Recovery Console will be installed.
  • You will this next prompt that asks if you want to continue the malware scan, select yes

  • Allow combofix to run
  • Post C:\combofix.txt back here.

    Note:
    Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
