I just recently had help from the community removing this pest...and it's back, or so Norton says. Hijack log below:

Hello.
Do you know where Norton is finding them.


  • Open HijackThis
  • Choose "Do a system scan only"
  • Check the boxes in front of these lines:


    O23 - Service: LicCtrl Service (LicCtrlService) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\runservice.exe
    O24 - Desktop Component 0: Privacy Protection - (no file)


  • Press "Fix Checked"
  • Close Hijack This.
