Solved BF2142 Lag

I have installed BF2142 and join servers in which i have really Low Ping

My Computer easily meets all the system requirements

However in game i get LAG none of my other mates have this problem

I mention this because they have the same internet package as me so i was wondering

what the possible causes could be

(Also i have recently formatted)

If you meet just the minimum system requirements, you might lag.

You can test if your computer meets the optimal or recommend system requirements here:

Simply select the game you want to test.

Also tell me the results.

Hey

Thanks for the link (im hoping i didnt get any spyware etc)

Here are the results (Dont have to read all I pass everything)

However it says that i should get my graphics card driver up to date

I have a ATI Radeon x1600 how is this possible

The website I provided is clean, so you don't have to worry about getting spyware etc.

This has nothing much to do with the game or the server you are playing on, but most likely your computer. Your also computer's RAM did not meet the requirement of 1.5 GB.

Before I can provide you the link to the drivers to version 8.9, what operating system are you running? If you are running Windows XP Professional/Home edition you can download it off the ATI website from here:

Yep i am running Windows Xp Professional Service Pack 2

However once i click the link i get the following error message

"Sorry, you have insufficient access.

403 Access Denied"

Yeh it seems that RAM is probably the issue
