Alienware MX11 R1 LiveKernelEvent & Bluescreen Event

Post by Shadowcraft on 23rd February 2015, 3:28 am

Hello there

First may I say thankyou first for taking the time to do what you do, its always nice to see others helping others.

Apologies for any spelling mistakes, I have problems with English.

My Problem is whenever I try to play games (World of Warcraft and Neverwinter Nights 2) on my five year old Laptop, for some reason I crash to black and the laptop becomes un respouncive until I force reset it. This has only been happening recently in the last two years after I had a new hard drive (same model as factory Hardrive) installed and system reinstalled.

Here is my Set Up:

Updated Drivers
Uninstall and reinstall Drivers
Scanned for Viruses
Cleaned Heat Fan and Heat Sync output vent
checked power lead for Damage
In the BIOS changed grapthics setting between Decreet and Switchable, very little change

All in all I am at a utter lost what to do and thought I would see if one of you wonderful people could help me Smile

Thankyou in advance.

According to these sites it has something to do with the drivers for the video adapter.

Did you try downloading the drivers from the Nvidia site?
