Remote Desktop Privacy

Post by mooglechan on Thu 19 Sep 2013, 3:08 am

I recently started using the Windows Remote Desktop Connection to connect to my work server because I telecommute. Previously, I'd always used GoToMyPC for telecommuting but my employer just installed a new server which always for a server-based connection that's a lot faster than GTMPC.

My question is this: is my employer able to track what I do now? More importantly, would he see what I'm doing on my personal PC outside of the Remote Desktop Connection window?

I hope someone can shed some light on this so I'll know what to do and what NOT to do during work hours. Not saying I'm always goofing off but everyone has a little "me time" in the office now and then, right?

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for your help!
