AddFlow ActiveX control errors?

Post by Callie B on 1st August 2013, 7:44 am

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, but I thought I'd take a shot. I've already mentioned my problem on the Autodesk forums, but since I've received such great service in the past I thought I'd try here too.

I am having an issue opening Particle View in Autodesk 3ds Max 2013. Every time I try to open it up I get an AddFlow ActiveX control error, saying it's incorrectly installed or can't be found. I have no idea what that is other than an .OCX document. I found it in my 3ds Max program files. When I click on it, it tries to open with Adobe Acrobat. I can't switch to another program and wouldn't even know what to open it with anyways.

So on the off-chance that someone here can help me figure this out, I'd be so thankful. I am a student using this software and I'll have to render particles in 3ds eventually.
