"Run DLL" error

Post by Callie B on Wed 17 Apr 2013, 1:45 pm

I have a Toshiba 64-bit laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. Lately I've been getting a "Run DLL" error every time I start my computer. Lately (past few days) it's been popping up every time I right-click on something. It is annoying and I've tried several different methods of trying to get rid of it.

I've run SuperANTISpyware, Spybot Search and Destroy and Malwarebytes (not all at once); all removed a few suspicious items but the error is still popping up.

I've also tried CCleaner, FixCleaner; still with the error.

I've also gone onto the Windows forums and tried the tutorial steps "msconfig", system startup, etc. Nothing.

Is there anyway of getting rid of this error? I originally came to GeekPolice to remove a Adobe Flash Trojan/malware. It definitely helped, but I'm not sure if I got it completely flushed out since, y'know, the "Run DLL" error. I think it's starting to effect my internet browser, too, since I have to constantly double click on the back arrow (or it'll fail to work at all). I have a Google toolbar installed if that sheds any light.

Thanks for the help. I'm not very computer literate.
