no webcam detected

Hi there, new to the site looking for some assistance

i have just purchased a used laptop its a toshiba c600-217

i cant detect a webcam and supposedly theres one built in

i have looked in the control panel and hardware device manager but theres nothing there for a webcam
i am at a complete loss and would like some help please

I found the manual at http://s3.amazonaws.com/szmanuals/3aabee9396307f658bf82d9519437292.

On page 141, it talks about the web cam. Apparently not all models came with a web cam. The web cams are typically installed above the display. There will be a small hole near the top center of the bezel that houses the web cam. If there's no hole, there's no web cam. Even if there is a hole, that doesn't quarantee that there's a web cam. However, is there is no hole, there is definately no web cam.

Do you see the hole?
