Hello, and welcome to GeekPolice.

I'm Rodel Ituralde and I will be helping you with your computer issues.

Please note the following information about the malware forum:

  • Only Tech Officers, Global Moderators, Administrators, and Malware Advisors are allowed to give advice on removing malware from your computer.
  • From this point on, please do not make any more changes to your computer.
  • Please do not ask for help elsewhere (in this site or other sites). Doing so can result in system changes, which may not show up in the logs you post.
  • If you have already asked for help somewhere, please post the link to the topic you were helped.
  • Lastly, please keep in mind that we are volunteers.

I am a student and will need to get approval prior to each step. I will return shortly with the first step.

Hello bigbonthabeat.

Please download OTL.exe by OldTimer to your Desktop.
  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe.
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted.
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

Next, please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Search.
  • A logfile will automatically open after the scan has finished.
  • Please post the content of that logfile in your reply.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[R1].txt as well.
=====

Finally, please download RogueKiller to your Desktop.

  • Quit all running programs.
  • For Vista/Seven, right-click>Run as administrator.
  • When prompted, type 2 and validate.
  • The RKreport.txt shall be generated next to the executable.
  • If the program is blocked, do not hesitate to try several times. If it
    really does not work (it could happen), rename it to winlogon.exe
Please post the contents of the RKreport.txt in your next reply.

=====

In your reply please post the contents of the following (you may need to use multiple posts):
  • OTL.txt.
  • Extras.txt.
  • AdwCleaner[R1].txt.
  • RKreport.txt.
