Trashing an old computer

Post by Buttons on Fri Jun 01, 2012 2:58 am

Just a general question here. Few months ago I got a new computer(Dell XPS 17) and wiped/physically destroyed(sledge hammer (Gunsmoke) ) the hard drive in the old computer(Dell Inspiron 1318). Haven't gotten around to figuring out how to toss it. Does anybody know if you can throw it in the trash or if there's a more proper way to deal with this? Anything to save the environment. Wink

You shouldn't have hammered it. Is the hard drive dead? even if it is dead, some people can still buy it for recycling
