iBook and wifi

Post by bruce.clarke1 on 9th October 2011, 4:19 pm

I recently purchased an iBook and everything works great except wifi ... It can run at the local library but not at home (the mac is set up for WEP and cannot use the WPA that the modem runs with) How do I set up the modem to WEP so I can use the wifi as it is kept in the basement and will the other laptops work with WEP? The unit in question is a Gigaset SE 567 from Telus.
Thank You!

Open up a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. In the address bar where you typically type in a web address, type in http://gigaset and then press the ENTER key. That should get you into the setup wizard.

That worked but got no further as I can't figure out how to sign in (can't find any password in my paperwork for the unit).
