Solved Virus/Malware stopping my computer from scanning

Post by sa1bot88 on Fri Sep 23, 2011 4:07 pm

Hello today after browsing the internet a bit (redflagdeals.com, youtube,) I decided to play some online poker. I get my first hand (yes this is a computer problem lol) and raise, couple people call and i hit the flop, i go to raise and my poker program just crashes. I get upset think its the poker program then all my other programs start acting wonky. Windows firewall is asking me if its ok to do everything, my firefox clicks on hotlinks and such start getting hijacked etc etc. I try to run hijackthis and it tell me that "The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file". So now I know something is wrong so here I am.

I looked at other pages on the site and found something similar here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Anyways I did the scans that were recommended on the read this before you post page (BTW I have Windows XP) and the OTL went unresponsive, the AswMBR came back with a very similar error as hijackthis and lastly here is my security check log:
