Post by BlowTreez on Thu Jul 07, 2011 3:56 pm

Idk how or why this is happening... but in my C:/ProgramData file i have like... over a thousand trz###.tmp files and no idea how they got there. Also when i try to click on links in google/bing etc. it'll randomly take me to another website, and also my proxy settings keep getting changed when i log back into my computer. HELP ME PLEASE! Please visit this webpage for a tutorial on downloading and running ComboFix:

See the area: Using ComboFix, and when done, post the log back here.

Any more issues?

We need to know any other issues that are plaguing your computer. Kindly give a summary so we know how to continue from here.

Many of the things to note for us would be:

  • Slow computer
  • Error messages
  • Fake antivirus alerts or the icon in the system tray
  • svchost.exe running at 100%
  • System crashes or blue screen of death
