website popups

Post by jodaak on 11th May 2011, 9:29 pm

My computer got some sort of virus and new windows would open when I was online and go to sites like adult.com and viagra.com. It was some sort of malware takeover saying my computer was infected with 33 threats, click here to protect. etc. Whenever I tried to do anything, these things would pop up. I ran a couple of malware scans and thought I got rid of it but I have been having problems ever since. The computer is slow as hell and it randomly shuts down saying it has encountered an error and needs to close. I still get some windows opening up when I'm not opening them too but it's not as constant. After I ran OTL here, the only notepad that opened was extras.txt. Here it is. Any help would be appreciated.
