What should I major in with computers?

Post by Brien on 5th May 2011, 12:43 am

I am thinking just maybe a basic Computer Technician spot, but should I also look into Networking? What are the perks of each? Appreciate responses.

Networking has many variables. Hardware is one of the easier options, as certain hardware can only go 1 place on the MB. Software troubleshooting is fun, but often frustrating when looking for a fix.

If you enjoy what you do for a living, you'll never have to go to work. Find something that YOU like.

What you like may change as you grow. It has for me.

It really depends what you prefer to do most. I'm going for an IT degree in software development. Know some VB.NET and C++. Smile
