possible keylogger

Post by duke2 on Sat Mar 26, 2011 4:17 pm

Hi,
I have just done my first scan using OTL. I have found the following item

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: DhcpNameServer = 194.168.4.100 194.168.8.100

This has not appeared using HJT and I think 017 is the highjack domain area.

Thankyou for any help in this matter

More than likely your ISP, I traced it and it went back to Cable Online Ltd in the UK.

Hi,
Thankyou for your reply.
I was concerned because JPG drawings I downloaded and then they were not recognised by P.S.Pro did not open but a thumb was showing in explorer. I tryed to delete it using East -tec eraser but it said it was, as far as I can remember in a cache perhaps in MFT, I cant remember. But using CCleaner deleted them.
I have reinstalled windows defender, and also reinstalled Skybott and Destroy, as they were removed when AVG 2011 was installed
they also come up clear.
Once again thankyou
Duke2
