Hi MrMario,

Have you tried adding those tools to Malwarebytes' "Ignore List".
If not try that and tell me how that goes after a restart.

Disruption, I don't think he wants to ignore those products.

@Mario...how exactly is it blocking these programs?

That IP address you see is on a list of bad IP addresses by ThreatExpert: http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?md5=0b1083b8af83ae35f3ecb3d5273fec9b

Also, it is listed on the hpHosts BL, which is used by MBAM to block web addresses/IP addresses: http://hosts-file.net/default.asp?s=204.51.78.152

However, I don't understand how that has to do with Avast.

So, open up a support request with corporate support, support[at]malwarebytes.org

or on their forums: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?&showforum=41

exile360 explained this at:

As to why Malwarebytes shows: Process: avastsvc.exe

Solved Malwarebytes blocking skype

That seemed to do it. But, associated question, by doing that have I made it so that MWB doesn't look at anything coming through Skype? Or has it only unblocked the part called "skype.exe"? There used to arrive in Skype invitations from Russian call girls and other unwanted stuff. Maybe that's not what MWB is designed to stop?
