AntiVira Av has infected my computer. How do I fix this?

Post by Aprilfool06 on Thu 10 Feb 2011, 7:39 am

I was looking for information regarding a new drug for MS and when I clicked on the website AntiVira AV attacked my computer! Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

Once you've run the OTL scan, 2 log files are made, copy and paste both here.
