Unmountable_Boot_Volume

Hello, everyone.

The computer is a Dell Inspirion 6000 and runs on Windows XP. The battery is missing, so I use it plugged in. I accidentally hit the cord and it unplugged on me. When I restarted it, the blue screen of death was there waiting.. Sad tearing

I received the following message/numbers:

STOP: 0x000000ED
(0x8A6107B8, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I googled the first number and found something that told me to open the Recovery Console, which I did. The blue screen came up while that was starting up, too.. so I couldn't run the "chkdsk /r" that this random forum suggested.
I also tried running in Safe Mode, but the blue screen was there, too. I knew I should have come here first.

I would appreciate any help you could give me. I am so lost! Thank you, everyone.
