Network + Everyone having their own personal "hard drive"

Post by lakers34kb on Tue Jan 25, 2011 10:21 pm

At my school every student has their own G: drive where they can store files on it and such.

How exactly is this done and set up? I don't know what exactly to Google to find information on this.

Thanks

What you're looking for is something called a Virtual Hard Drive. Or at least, this is what it sounds like what you're looking for.
I set this up for my school when I was in high school, in a similar fashion as the following link.

If you have windows 7, it's even easier

Good luck Big Grin
