Hey, Welcome to the forum!!
If it is not malware related, run an antivirus scan to check to see if it finds anything out of the ordinary.
If your antivirus finds anything ,
Please read here
Then post in the malware forum here
One of the awesome techs will help you as soon as they can!
Also, there are a couple things you can do to clear unneeded files.
First:
Run Disk Defragmenter - Start> All Programs> Accessories > Disk Defragmenter
Second:
Run Disk Cleanup - Start> All Programs> Accessories> Disk Cleanup -
Choose C: drive (if this is your main drive) , This will find unneeded files in the main drive, When the cleanup screen pops up Click OK to allow cleanup, you will be asked if you are sure click yes.

Third, you can clean out your cache follow the instructions here:
http://www.ehow.com/how_4488330_clean-computer-cache.html

Hope this helps!! Please let me know.

Hi there !

What browser are you using ? If it's IE go to Tools | Internet Options and click on Advance Tab and hit Reset

Follow this article and do a Winsock Reset http://windowsxp.mvps.org/winsock.htm
