Mouse issues

Post by A358 on 24th November 2010, 6:59 pm

I am running Windows 7 X86, and having trouble with my mouse.
My left click is acting odd, I can only select something if if select it with my right mouse button first. The buttons are not inverted and I have not changed anything.
Thanks

Hi, try read this post :

Are you sure your clicks are not inverted ? Go to Start > type in Search Box - Change mouse click and press Enter.

Clicks are not inverted, and the link didn't solve it.

OK, this problem went away for a week, but it is now back.
I have seen others having something like this happen, where in order to left click they have to right click first.
Does it really require a new mouse?

OK, thanks for your help.
I'll look for a new one and report back soon.

The odd thing is that it is OK now, just like it was a week ago.
