csrss.exe

Post by VirusOwnedMe on 11th November 2010, 11:59 pm

Ok here's what's confusing me I used Security Task Manager to see if I had any viruses, etc. And found that I had two csrss.exe processes so I open up Task Manager and sure enough I have two csrss.exe. My question is, is this normal? If not which is a virus. They both have the same name, barely use any CPU, one uses 944 K memory the other uses 972 K and they are both under Client Service Runtime Process.

Thanks.

Hello.

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
