Adding active watermarks on word and excel documents

Post by john1973 on Wed Nov 03, 2010 5:15 pm

Hello all,
I am having difficulty with adding watermarks to my Word and Excel documents. Here is what i need it to do.

On the documents, I need to add a hidden watermark that will only show up when printed. The mark needs to be synchronized with the date it was printed so it will read "Void after" and then automatically add a date 14 days from the day it was printed. So for example, if I printed a document on Nov 1st, then the watermark would read "Void after 11/14/10"

The documents are first converted to PDF before they can be viewed or printed.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I am using Office 2007 Prof. and Adobe Professional 8.
Windows XP

Thanks!!

Hi,
When you finish your Word Document. Go to Convert to PDF or Create PDF button.

When Adobe opens your file, go to Document > Watermark > Add..

Follow steps inside and your done.
