Trojan Horse Fake alert.UD

Post by fingers62060 on Fri Oct 22, 2010 3:31 pm

I have recently had my laptop infected from AV8 Antivirus, and now have problems with warnings restricting my use of the internet. Initially my computer would only show a black screen and i could only open things using Task Manager but i have now got the desk top up and running. However, when i access the internet, it brings up the warning. And my AVG free brings up a warning to show that it has detected a Trojan Horse Fake Alert.UD infection, some of which it can remove, others it can;t. I also get warning from Norton that it has blocked unauthorised access from 1 of about 5 repeating ip addresses. i have gone through the Hijack this post to no avail. Please help.

  • Once it's finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.

  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Extra Note)
  • Please save the log to a location you will remember.
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and paste the entire report in your next reply.
