herss.exe

Post by V6Raver on Mon Oct 11, 2010 5:25 am

Hi, my friend told me about this site to help with my longtime virus

Sooo I got this virus called herss.exe in one of my harddrives. Couldn't get rid of it no matter what I tried. It was pretty bad, just accessing that harddrive with a new harddrive would infect it. Like not even opening of using anything in the harddrive..just going in it would infect my new one.
The infected harddrive has just been laying on my shelf for a couple years now LOL and I was wondering if I could get some help?

I'm using a new clean harddrive right now so I don't have the virus, but I would really like to get back the pictures and music from a few years ago in that infected harddrive.

So does anyone know a solution? or should I plug in the infected harddrive, get the virus on my current harddrive and then post a OTL first?

Thanks for reading! Big Grin

Hello.

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
