Infected trojan horse/viruses

Post by vividmemories on Sun 03 Oct 2010, 2:11 am

Hi there, today my AVG resistant shield popped up and showed that i have 4 viruses:
-Win32/Zbot.A
-Trojan Horse Sheur3.AQRA
-VBS/Generic
-Trojan Horse Backdoor.Generic 13.GAE
I downloaded zbotkiller from kaspersky to remove Win32/Zbot.A, but it didnt work.
Im unable to open firefox, because when i click on the shortcut, nothing happens and AVG shield pops up. However Internet explorer works.

May i request help on what to do please?
Thanks
Matt

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
