WMS_Idle

Post by SASSY_Nc on 2nd October 2010, 1:55 pm

I had posted this before, but didn't get back to check the replies before the topic was closed. Here is my original question:

"When I shut down my computer, it comes up with a message saying WMS_Idle not responding. A lot programs will end themselves if you give me them a minute, but this one won't. It will sit there until you hit end task. When I did an internet search, it advised downloading a patch for Netscape Navigator, but I don't have that program on my computer. Any ideas?"

Someone mentioned Nero and Office Communicator. I don't have communicator, but I do have Nero. Could it be that there is a problem with that or an update that I need to download for it?

Please download SystemLook from one of the links below and save it to your Desktop.
Download Mirror #1
Download Mirror #2

  • Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
  • Copy the bolded text below, and paste it into the main textfield in SystemLook:

    :regfind
    BgMonitor_###

  • Click the Look button to start the scan.
  • When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan. Please post this log in your next reply.
Note: The log can also be found on your Desktop entitled SystemLook.txt

Please don't close this topic. It'll be at least tomorrow before I can get back in here to download the program and post the log. It may even be this weekend.

Thank you

I once had the same problem and i got it solved by disabling nero scout and since you said that you use nero too, may be this can help you.. Copy the below commands and paste it in the Run box (Win key+R).

regsvr32 /u “%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll”

Previously 'Ranjan'.

Safety and Peace upon you.

When I put that in I get the following message:

LoadLibrary(""C:\Program") failed - The specific module could not be found.
