Edit and Reply not working as expected.

Post by mdavidjohnson on Wed Sep 22, 2010 5:32 pm

I posted "Corrupt MDSSOCK.dll" in the Programming section, and copied in some code.

The #include statements in the code lost their left and right carets and the filenames between the carets during the paste process.

So I tried the "Quick Reply" and "Post Reply" mechanisms to try to clear up and explain the lost items.

The Topics list shows that 2 replies have been made, but neither reply appears when I open the topic.

What am I doing wrong?

Resolved???

Post by mdavidjohnson on Thu Sep 23, 2010 4:56 am

http://www.GeekPolice.net/programming-f23/corrupt-mswsockdll-t23878.htm

But now that I come back to it after several hours, all the problems I listed seem to have resolved themselves.

( Please note that I had tried to edit and replace the left and right carets with quotation marks to make the filenames readable but that hadn't seemed to have worked either -- but now it has ).

This forum has a bit of trouble interpreting foreign forum code, such as a different coding language like C++ or Java. This is because we have script blocking techniques in place, which kinda messes up topics when we block the scripts.
