My favorite defrag: Puran Defrag

Post by Eclipsed on Thu Jul 29, 2010 3:24 am

I just wanted to share this free defrag utility with everyone. It is the only piece of defrag software that I get a noticeable performance boost from and I've tried many defrag softwares. If you try this, check off PIOZR in the options.

What's wrong with the standard one in Windows? Do Puran Defrag or Defraggler do a better job? Let me think

I always find that the default windows one is too slow and doesn't give enough information. It acts as a background task but using a different program can defrag quickly while you leave it on.
