Bad Power Supply?

Post by Sir $wat on 6th June 2010, 8:49 pm

I tried powering on my system and it didnt come on. The last time i tried to was a few months ago.

I opened the case and noticed when i press the power button, the fan makes a small spin and and stops.

what can be the problem??

Could be a motherboard problem. Can you tell if the components are getting power?

Unfortunatley sounds like your mobo is on the way out. Let me think
On the plus side, could be time for an upgrade! Hooray!

Hope your not spending much on it if your only going to a dual core?

Prob better off going a quad core, or something like the new intel i cores for a bit of future proofing.
