Dell 17" monitor

Post by greich2 on Sat Apr 24, 2010 8:21 pm

Hi,

I can't get my Dell monitor to come out of power save mode. I have some important documents up and not sure if they have saved automatically or not. PLEASE HELP!

Thanks

Hello,

Please unplug your Dell monitor from the power socket and plug it back in. See if it comes back on.

Hello,

Do you have any computer or perhaps another monitor to test if either the graphics card or the monitor is working?

Hi,

I tried the monitor with my laptop and it is indeed working. The monitor does say in Power save mode, touch any key or mouse. No matter what button I touch or hold down, nor how much I move the mouse there is no repsonse. I do not even see the green light on the front of the PC blink.

Hello,

The problem lies with your computer. The monitor is working perfectly, so the graphics card is most probably faulty.
