Post by bigmike659 on 29th March 2010, 10:46 pm

Well long story short, someone had gotten on my desktop did some web searching and I come to find out that Win 7 Security(the fake maleware or what not..)had found it way onto my computer, then had a relative try to fix it(which didn't work -.-) and now I can't use any of my internet shortcut like Firefox and Google Chrome, a little window pops up asking what program do you want to open to run this... i can't even do a system restore/backup..

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
