Panda Antivirus

Post by Jazeon on Mon Mar 29, 2010 3:31 pm

Well I saw this new anti-virus http://www.cloudantivirus.com/en/

So I wanted to know if its better than Avira. And additional question is if I uninstalled my avira all virus will be out too right?

Actually, it is not "better" but is a newer technology of antivirus.

Panda Antivirus uses a "cloud technology" that updates its definitions live.

Panda antivirus is very good. If you go to pcmag website and read their security reviews, they have Panda end up better than Avira 10.

Take it for what it is worth - the outcome of a test depends on the testing methods and sometimes on the testers objectivity/commercial interest Big Grin

If you are going to get Panda, then yes uninstall Avira.

According to me panda's cloud anti virus is not that mush safer than avira.. the reason is that it syncs its definitions live (cloud technology) only when u r connected to internet. if sometimes u have network problem at that time you may not be able to escape from viruses...
