Fuzzy Screen

Post by KingwoodBubba on 21st March 2010, 8:18 pm

It appears I have a virus that no one has seen. The screen gets fuzzy and I am unable to load any malaware software to clean up the computer. Is there something else going on? It is not the monitor as I have changed it out three times all with the same result.

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  • Choose your usual account.

Do you still get monitor problems in Safe Mode?
