GLOBAL??C2CAD972#4079#4fd3#A68D#AD34C

Post by lawguy10 on Fri Feb 19, 2010 3:59 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this website and forum, so have patience with me.

I have Zone Alarm Extreme Security, but it can't quarantine or delete an infection. I get the following scan results -Trojan-Spy.Win32.Agent.bdfz was found in \GLOBAL??\C2CAD972#4079#4fd3#A68D#AD34CC121074\L\max++.00.x86 - and am advised to go to a search engine to find ways to fix it. That's how I discovered Geek Police.

Can I get some guidance on what to do?

Thanks,

Peter

Hello.

Download [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.

I'm having a problem downloading OTL to my desktop. I created a folder but keep getting an error message that I can't download from a temporary folder.

Can you download it from another machine and transfer it over from that machine via USB?

Please download the current version of HijackThis from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
