Replicating my hard drive

Post by goldmind on 18th February 2010, 12:38 am

I have a terabyte hard drive that was built for me to do a karaoke/dj show. I am the quintessential novice when it comes to geeking.
My first year with the system (it runs xp pro), I did well, but had moments when it seem like I might face a crash. I want to duplicate what is on this hard drive, so I transferred it to an external device that now shows folders I cannot decipher or open. How can I get all the music (dj/karaoke) and the programs stored on another device, so I have a backup should this one bite the dust. Thank you.
